I'm pretty sure that no one uses any IM client outside of Facebook these days.

Spotted today that YIM icon was broken. As this auto-reveals the address, I have switched the function off until I can verify if this is a temporary break or a permanent one.

Out of curiousity, do people still use YIM? If not, I will happily keep the YIM contact option switched off.

Thinking of writing book reviews for the historical books I read. Because I read more of those than SFF and history is, as Pratchett said, more guys with swords beating up other guys with swords. (Just like Fantasy.) Anyone else reading historical books and interested?

Nothing But Thieves.

Good band. Unfortunately sing a song about Amsterdam. Still a good band though.

I saw Event Horizon the other day. Reminded me a bit about DOOM3 storyline. Not a good movie b.t.w. unless you like (bad) horror. From a sci-fi perspective it is shit. Although one scene with a guy going out the airlock into the vacuum of space was fairly accurate despite a little over the top.

Watching One Piece from the beginning. Goes slow but it is fun as the wife knows it, enjoys it (bloody miracle) and saw a little bit in her childhood but not much of it. At this rate it will take three years to clear it, but hey, got to have something to do. Hopefully by then Game of Thrones is done and we can watch that without anyone spoiling it.

Anything else? Movies: go watch Arrival if you did not do so yet and you like SF. The African Doctor is also fun. Oh yeah, looking forward to the next MCU movies, such as Black Panther and Infinity Wars.

Got to treasure these little venturers that make us laugh! :)

What humours me most is that onions and garlics are listed in brackets behind meat-eating. Trying to imagine what kind of animal would have onion and garlic as bits.
