I'm going to get to dress up at work, and since I work at a school with adorable little kids, I'll get to see lots of really cute costumes too :) Its far more than I've done since I was a young lad in highschool. I'll probably buy a pumpkin to carve too, though I don't yet know what image to carve. Any suggestions?

Carve Jay Leno in a pumpkin. That'll be sure to scare all the kids.

You'd need something to help you do these two, but their bloody good -

You could always stick to the traditional one, Shifty.  :threaten:

I don't feel we in Scotland have the same Halloween feeling. I watch movies and tv shows from the usa and they have all these massive halloween parties and everyone is jumping about the streets in costumes.

We don't celebrate it in britain as much which is perhaps why I don't even get excited in the least when it comes around.

I kind of regret that.

It's the same in England, its not that big a day really. Yes young kid do call sometimes Trick or Treating but not that much.

I doubt I will be doing anything special on the day. When I was at Uni once I went to a great Halloween party when we absolutly trashed a place but thats it since I was a kid.

I have got a halloween house party to go to but I really can't be bothered getting dressed up. I'm inherently lazy i guess.

Guess I should revive this, since the day is upon us...

Anyone going to any good parties? Dressing up? Anything?

I wanted to go and see Saw II with a friend at the cinema tonight but my local 4 screen Odeon is not showing the film so I doubt I will do much now.

I'm drinking beer. But that's not unusual.

Some small cretins arrived at my door tonight and expected candy from me.

I calmly walked to the door, drew my sword, and stated from my dimly lit hallway that I had nothing good for them.

They left, and I was not bothered for the rest of the night.

i've been in sydney for the last 3 years and today was the first time i've seen kids trick or treating around the area.. lol
their costumes were disappointingly shabby... gave them a pack of lollies for the initiative.

My head hurts. I'm going to be doing very little. If I get a little better I may humour the kids that come to my house. I'm annoyed about two things: my lack of money, which cuts down options and the lack of Halloween themed films on tv.

No one knocked on my door which is good as I have nothing to give them as I don't really want eggs thrown at my door :)

I must also agree with GO that there is a serious lack of good horror films on TV tonight, Blair Witch on E4 and thats it.

Yeah, I don't even like that film either. Grrr...I remember seeing it in the cinema when I was like 11 or something, and even then I wasn't scared. Such a lame movie...

Anyway, Halloween has came and went for another year. I hope you all had more fun than I did.

Another one passed, great time, all of the children had fun as did the wolf. I forgot about one tradition and that is we always have hot dogs with home made chilli. Good eats and a good night of fun :)

Our little 4 year old had fun. He dressed up as Frankenstien's Monster, and we took him round the Close we live in with some of the neighbour's kids. Talk about being excited! He was bouncing around like a looney!  :)

The only problem was that he wanted to go further but it was way past his bed-time as it was and kicked up a fuss when we took him home.

Poor little fellow :depressed:

Went to some party. They wouldnt let us take our drink in, so we drank it outside. Then we went in and the bands sucked so we went tinto the bar area, they served us for about half an hour then decided they needed ID.

So we bailed to a shop and they wouldnt serve us, we went to another shop that was about half an hour away and got some drink, drunk it on the way back to the party.

We got back and the bands playing later were ok. This guy got knocked out in a mosh pit and no one noticed he ws on the floor.

People kept trying to nick my hat though...bastards...

Should have some picks of me and mates dressed up soon.
